Job Description

We're looking for a developer who bridges the gap between marketing and engineering. You'll own the technical implementation of our marketing stack, ensuring accurate tracking, attribution, and data flow across platforms.

What You'll Do

  • Implement and maintain event tracking across our mobile app and web properties (Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Firebase)
  • Set up and optimize Google Ads conversion tracking, including server-side integrations via the Conversions API
  • Work directly with the marketing team to translate campaign requirements into technical implementations
  • Debug tracking issues, validate event data quality, and ensure consistency across platforms
  • Manage Google Tag Manager containers and coordinate tag deployments
  • Build dashboards and reports that connect marketing spend to user behavior and conversions
  • Document event schemas and maintain a tracking plan as the product evolves

What We're Looking For

  • Strong JavaScript skills and experience with mobile app development (React Native preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, and conversion tracking setup
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools like Mixpanel or Amplitude
  • Understanding of attribution models, UTM parameters, and the customer journey
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented—tracking bugs can be subtle and costly

Nice to Have

  • Experience with BigQuery or other data warehouses
  • Background in mobile attribution (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch)
  • Familiarity with privacy regulations and their impact on tracking (ATT, GDPR)
