Job description

Material Controller

Location: West Whiteland, PA (US)

As a Material Handler, you’ll contribute to JM’s mission as a world leader in sustainable technology, transforming energy and reducing carbon emissions for a cleaner, brighter future. 

The role: 

  • Safely handle, process, weigh and ship precious metal materials in line with EH&S and Life Saving Policies. 

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and transact material movements within JM systems. 

  • Support on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery of customer orders through effective coordination with scheduling and logistics teams. 

  • Ensure materials are packed, stored and transported in compliance with security, regulatory and quality standards. 

  • Carry out routine equipment checks and support basic maintenance and troubleshooting activities. 

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cross-train across Supply Chain functions. 

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role: 

  • Experience in material handling, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing environments. 

  • Strong commitment to safety, quality and compliance in day-to-day operations. 

  • Ability to accurately weigh, record and physically move materials, including lifting up to 50 lbs. 

  • Comfortable using Microsoft applications and learning new inventory or MRP systems. 

  • Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams. 

  • Self-motivated, organised and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset.
