Advanced Assembly, Inc. (AAI), located in University Research Park on the west side of Madison, is looking to add a Material Handler to our well-trained and experienced staff. Advanced Assembly, Inc. is an electronics manufacturing services provider of electronic assemblies and products, including the Captioned Telephone (CapTel). This full time position offers a first shift schedule of Monday – Thursday, 5:30 am – 3:00 pm & Friday 5:30 am – 9:30 am, a competitive starting wage and a full benefits package. Job Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for performing a wide variety of inventory handling and processing activities.
Essential Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Pick and replenish Point of Use material required for production departments.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and quality, and document any discrepancies utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Perform inventory transactions in the ERP.
- Ensure all materials are properly identified, stored, and tracked.
- Ensure First In, First Out (FIFO) is followed.
- Follow company Safety and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) policies.
- Cycle count material.
- Follow 5S practices to maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct reports.

- High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Basic English, math, and computer skills (e.g., Microsoft applications).
- Detail oriented with numbers and data entry.

- Working knowledge of QAD a plus.
- Operate appropriate material handling equipment safely.
