Job Summary:
A Material Handler/Driver is responsible for coordinating and processing transfer shipments. A Material Handler should be able to multitask and be motivated to complete tasks independently or in a team setting. A valid driver’s license with an approved motor vehicle DMV report is required and have no history of drug or alcohol abuse.
Responsibilities:
- Fulfilling transfer orders from other branches and keeping track of materials and inventory
- Load transfer shipments at the appropriate scheduled times
- Process and stage all tagged material to be placed in designated areas
- Complete cycle count for assigned areas
- Perform daily housekeeping practices for assigned work areas
- Assist in all warehouse or delivery duties on an as-needed basis
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the leadership team or senior management

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with approved clean driver vehicle report
- Forklift certification is preferred but not required
- No history of drug or alcohol abuse
- Provide current health card
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 50 lbs. or more
- Ability to climb, crouch, and grasp
- Ability to listen and speak clearly
