Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the Material Handler is to ensure accuracy of material used in the Extrusion process. Assist the Extrusion team where needed. This position requires a high level of experience and handling of a forklift.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Verify current silo mix
- Recognize differences in materials in use
- Pull accurate material and fill appropriate ratio of materials into silos
- Plan production tasks and schedules according to customer orders.
- Sort Pallets (Good / Broken / Foreign) Move to storage after full
- Sort used bags
- Check Dryer tanks – Temp, Fill levels, Flow, D.P. Readings
- Clean Dust Tanks and Socks
- Clean Tanks / Vacuum Pump areas
- Check Regrind bags
- Clean and organize various sized cardboard cores.
- Assist Extrusion Operators with machine shutdown/startup
- Assist with clean up of purge
- Assist with Roll Changes
- Assist with Screen Changes
- Adhere to company standards and production policies to meet company objectives.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma required.
- Minimum 3-5yrs Forklift experience
Physical Requirements: ·
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and walking
- Must be able to safely operator a forklift
