Position: Pattern Storage Material Handler
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift to properly load and unload material/patterns to and from manufacturing and shipping areas.
- Stack loads accurately and safely at all times
- Comfortable moving material in and out of racks
- Ability to maneuver in congested areas while operating in a safe manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
- Prior forklift experience required.
- Must have valid state driver’s license.
- Established skills in operating equipment in a safe manner.
- Demonstrated competency in loading, unloading, and stacking materials.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Heavy manufacturing environment
- Indoor and outdoor climate conditions during all seasons and in varying temperatures.
- Perform physical activities that require use of your arms and legs, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking stooping and handling materials.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full Time. Hourly, non-exempt.
