Are you a highly motivated, dependable individual looking to join our team as Material Handler? This position is responsible for keeping materials organized and supplied to the appropriate lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to maneuver materials and ensure all lines stay supplied with the appropriate materials.
- Assume ownership of the cleanliness and organization of the material area.
- Drive facility organization and cleanliness by assuring things are stored in the correct places and following FIFO standards.
- Maintain and fill out a daily forklift checklist before every shift.
- Assist with any other operations as directed for production needs, including duties off the lift.
Qualifications:
- Must have forklift certification and be willing to obtain specific certification requirements as needed per company policies.
- Must know and comply with all safety standards and processes.
- Must follow all forklift safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Maintains a work pace appropriate to the workload to meet production goals.
- Able to walk, stand, and maneuver on uneven surfaces as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to work cooperatively in a team
- Must be able to understand and follow instructions with minimum supervision.
