Warehouse Material Handler - Immediate Opening!
PrideStaff is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Material Handler on behalf of a leading manufacturing client. This is a vital, hands-on role responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely movement of all materials within the warehouse, shipping, and receiving areas.

You will manage the full lifecycle of materials—from receiving goods to shipping finished products—to ensure efficient operations and maintain inventory integrity.
Receiving & Processing:
Perform safe and accurate receipt of purchased and manufactured goods.
Verify paperwork, quantity, location, and quality for incoming shipments.
Open, repack, mark, and store products in designated areas, reporting all discrepancies immediately.
Shipping & Distribution:
Prepare products for outbound shipment, including pulling stock, banding, wrapping, and weighing.
Complete all necessary shipping paperwork (Packing Slips, Bills of Lading, labels) and maintain the shipping log.
Accurately label and ship products to customers per delivery requirements.
Inventory Control:
Conduct regular inventory cycle counts to ensure high inventory accuracy.
Perform physical counts for products based on min/max replenishment systems.
Accurately locate and record all inventory movements and report any discrepancies.
Equipment Operation:
Operate equipment safely and efficiently, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and cherry pickers.
Teamwork & Safety:
Work in a collaborative, team-based environment and participate in cross-training.
Follow all existing safety rules, policies, and procedures, and assist with continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications & Requirements
Skills & Experience
High School Diploma or GED; OR 1-3 years of related Material Handler experience/training.
Proficiency in basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, whole numbers, fractions, decimals).
Strong ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, and shipping/receiving paperwork.
Demonstrated ability to safely operate motorized/mechanical vehicles (forklifts, cherry pickers, etc.).
Physical Demands
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Must be able to reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
Ability to work continuously in a non-air conditioned environment.
Specific vision abilities required include depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
