This position is a pivotal role based in the production department. Working in a fast paced manufacturing and moulding environment, manage and preparing material for use in injection moulding process and support manufacturing. Previous experience in an inventory role would be desirable along with a thorough knowledge of working with many types of resins used in thermoplastic injection moulding.

Working in a fast paced manufacturing and moulding environment, manage and preparing material for use in injection moulding process and support manufacturing. Previous experience in an inventory role would be desirable along with a thorough knowledge of working with many types of resins used in thermoplastic injection moulding. 


What you'll do:
  • Retrieve and store materials in warehouse.
  • Weigh material on scales.
  • Calculate material discrepancies.
  • Identify appropriate resin for upcoming order.
  • Master batch mixing. 
  • Prepare and stage material for moulding process.
  • Clean out dryers and load with resin.
  • Identify appropriate dryer temperature and set dryer accordingly.
  • Track inventory quantities.
  • Perform and record regular cycle counts.
  • Perform annual inventory.
  • General housekeeping of the production area.
  • Adhere to all quality and safety standards within the department.
  • Maintain clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization.
  • Continually seek to improve work processes and individual performance.
  • Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.


  • What it takes:
  • Inventory control preferred.
  • Familiar with the many types of resins used in thermoplastic injection molding.
  • Able to be licensed to operate material handling equipment 
  • Able to work safely with sharp and heavy objects (utility knives, aluminum blocks, etc.).
  • Physical job requirements: reaching, bending, and grasping.
  • Experienced with Computer and Microsoft packages
  • Literate and numerate 
  • Worked in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Must be punctual and have good attendance.
  • Understands, comprehend and follow printed and computer-screen instructions, and direction from supervisors or technical leads. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and urgency.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment

  • (forklift, pallet jack, overhead crane hoist, etc.) – we will train.
