Job description

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

 

As a Model-Based Systems Engineer for the AI Reliability Engineering (AIRE) team, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for leading the design, development, and integration of complex enterprise systems using MBSE methodologies.

  • Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including direct hands-on experience with industry-leading MSBE tools, such as Cameo Systems Modeler
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain SysML models, including behavioral, structural, and requirements diagrams. 
  • Experience applying MBSE to complex systems across the full system lifecycle, including stakeholder need identification, functional decomposition, interface definition, and trade study analysis
  • Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
  • Creative thinker who can leverage MBSE models to quickly communicate complex system designs and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
  • Collaborative team player and strong communications skills
