We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer Junior.
Located on-site in Ventura, CA.
This role supports our Air Dominance contract with the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme Division (PHD).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Drawing reviews
- Grasp of form fit, function for End Of Life products (EOL)
- Corrective actions
- Revision updates
- Understanding of electronics
- Ability with tools to get into the consoles and replace components
- Interface with users of equipment
- Understanding how to write Engineering Change Orders
- Interpret ECR’s, ECP’s
- Solidworks
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT)
- Ability to work with a team
- Writing tech manuals
- Troubleshooting to diagnose issues and provide feedback
- Purchase requests
- Ability to work solely to fix problems
- Documentation on revisions
Experience Requirements:
- 6 to 10 years' experience in mechanical engineering
Education Requirements:
- Engineering degree is a specified field: electrical – mechanical- Software
Security Clearance:
- Must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one
