Microservices/Application Architect responsible for designing and implementing microservices based solutions and strategy, and the microservices adoption process within the organization.
Candidates must be able to lead and guide a team on developing solutions that fully integrate and collaborate with existing IT systems to solve complex business solutions. Candidates should have a holistic view of enterprise solutions, taking into consideration operational costs, security, performance engineering, application development, and systems management.

This is a client-facing role: the candidate must have a sound understanding of microservices, and technology architecture but also very good communication skills, with the ability to adapt them to different audiences.
Design and build the best of class resilient solutions using universally accepted architecture practices and design patterns
Be the go-to person for understanding technical design requirements and help design solutions that meet or exceed the company's architecture standards
Establish strong cross-functional and cross-organizational relationships and collaboration with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams
Establish best practices, coding standards, and design patterns. Enforce development patterns and best practices through mentorship, code, and design reviews
Create architecture solution blueprints and other UML based design documentation
Lead architecture discussions with partnership across Enterprise Architecture group, other architects in Scheduling, Lead Engineers from the Scrum Teams to design robust, scalable, highly tolerant cloud ready application system
Participate in EPIC grooming with Product Owners, Lead Engineers, business teams to ensure business need has been uncovered and a viable technical solution has been found
Keep up to date on industry technology trends and modern software delivery techniques.
Communicate and effectively articulate technical decisions to business and technical partners
Developing and maintaining long term business domain knowledge
Must have a minimum 5 years of application developments experience including at least 2 years in an architect or lead role
Understand the requirement, coding, and testing transformation applications using Java 8/11 and above.
Must have hands-on experiences of spring boot and micro-services
Must have a solid understanding of Core Java Concepts such as Object-Oriented Programming, Java Collections API, Exception - - Handling, and Multi-Threading is required.
Must have good knowledge of AWS cloud technology
Good at handling Unit Testing using JUnit.
Knowledge of code quality tools like SonarQube, fortify
Knowledge with Azure AKS and Serverless services
Experience in API migration, infrastructure migration
Experience in continuous integration build tools Jenkins SonarQube JIRA Nexus
