Your future job
As an Embedded Software Engineer at Melexis, you will design and develop software products, components, and applications. You’ll be part of a collaborative team driven by curiosity, teamwork, and a passion for technology, learning from each other while delivering high-quality solutions for automotive and innovative beyond automotive industries.
More specifically, you will:
- Design, develop, and test embedded software components for Melexis products, primarily targeting the automotive market but also extending beyond it.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, including ISO 26262 and ASPICE, while following Melexis’ embedded software development processes and Agile methods.
- Work with modern tools such as Git, GitLab, Docker, MLX16 compiler, debugger, and simulator.
- Contribute to decision-making processes related to DevOps and embedded software development workflows.
Your profile
- University degree in engineering, electronics, mathematics, or a related field, with a solid understanding of electronics.
- Strong knowledge of C, familiarity with assembly language, and experience with Python or other scripting languages.
- Proficiency in GNU Compiler tools and experience with Linux as a development platform.
- Familiarity with IDEs (Visual Studio Code, Eclipse) and in-circuit debugging tools.
- Understanding of digital and analog hardware, including reading and interpreting schematics is a plus.
- Ability to write structured, well-documented code with strong debugging and validation skills.
- Knowledge of version control, configuration management, and continuous integration tools.
- Fluency in English.
