Accountabilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Python, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Configure, deploy, and support applications running in production environments.
- Build and maintain integrations between systems through REST APIs, Webhooks, and Kafka-based communication flows.
- Work with PostgreSQL databases, including data modeling, queries, maintenance, and optimization.
- Contribute to software architecture decisions, engineering best practices, code quality, and observability improvements.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve technical issues proactively, ensuring system stability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
- Participate throughout the software lifecycle, from development and integration to application support and maintenance.
- Practical experience with backend software development using Python.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL databases and database-related development activities.
- Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven communication concepts.
- Experience implementing and consuming Webhooks.
- Background supporting applications, troubleshooting issues, and resolving technical incidents.
- Knowledge of Git and version control practices.
- Strong autonomy, investigative mindset, and ability to solve complex technical problems.
- Ability to understand systems holistically and work independently while collaborating effectively with different stakeholders.
- Knowledge of distributed architectures and microservices.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with Kotlin or Node.js.
