Midstream Energy Efficiency Programs - Program Manager and Strategic Advisor

Job Description:

To support our growth we are seeking a seasoned professional to provide project management, outreach, implementation, and technical support for residential, commercial & industrial energy efficiency programs focused on local and national midstream market channels. In this role you will oversee the development, execution, and evaluation of program documents; communications with all key stakeholders and team members; contract activities and quality deliverables; management of budgets and project schedules; and coordination with a team of energy efficiency experts. You will also contribute to the development of program design strategies and implementation plans; development and execution of marketing strategies; design of merchandising layouts, development of promotional plans; quality control measures; and building, development, and maintenance of relationships with key organizations, specifically in the distributor and retailer sectors. Program management responsibilities include designing and deploying across utility clients in ICF’s Central Region while also serving as a liaison between program clients and distributors\/retailers nationally. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initially manage the Commercial Foodservice Equipment industry Pilot Program for ComEd as part of the ICF\/DNV-GL Implementation Team
  • Develop relationships and partnerships with major local and national and regional distributors, suppliers and manufacturers
  • Align marketing, promotional, and merchandising activities for energy efficient products with key utility contracts across the nation
  • Effective project and budget management
  • Analyzing market trends and technologies to deploy midstream programs

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Requires a bachelor's degree; Extensive experience with midstream and upstream energy efficiency programs
    • Outstanding skills in the following areas: organization, flexibility, financial and time management, analysis, stakeholder collaboration and outreach, marketing planning and execution, event management, written and verbal communications, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills

      Experience:

      • Corporate level knowledge of lighting and HVAC equipment suppliers
      • Project management, outreach, negotiation, implementation and technical support, and partnership development in a changing and fast-paced environment
      • In-depth knowledge of lighting technologies, and a deep expertise of the HVAC industry, the Commercial Foodservice Equipment industry and its manufacturers
      • Marketing experience in an active supplier-focused market

        • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision making capabilities
        • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
        • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
        • Ability to be flexible to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
