Responsibilities

• Build dynamic mobile applications in an Agile environment
• Leading and mentoring of internal staff and external client teams
• Implementing and developing best practices for Ajman Municipality customers and Local users .
• Cross-collaboration with Smart Services Development Department team members .
• Assuring delivery of projects, and training and development of client staff
•  Lead, participate in, and execute the delivery of Ajman Municipality mobile app prototyping and development engagements with other government and business entities .
• Lead the development of mobility solution architectures (both tactical and strategic) to fully manage/support the business needs of Ajman Municipality clients
• Hands-on mobile application development experience using Appcelerator to deliver iOS and Android apps
• Mobile application testing - Application, Performance, Security, Integration, etc. and provide best practices
• Document architectural functional requirements including detailed implementation plans
• Identify business and technology risks associated with architectural solutions
• Participate in web services definition
• Review code and project deliverables and confirm they are of the highest quality
• Recommend development sprint plans to best achieve app execution
• Work in an Agile environment
• Troubleshoot/debug and fix bugs and performance issues
• Participate in ongoing research and evaluation of new related technologies
• Participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle including requirements analysis, estimating, design, implementation, testing, and release
• Mentor the development staff to ensure continuous development of technical skills and growth of technical team 

Requirements

• 3-5 years of solid mobile development experience

• Experience having deployed developed apps to Google Play or Apple App Store.

• Total commitment to Ajman Municipality  values of attitude, commitment, and excellence

• Experience developing mobile applications for Android and/or iOS (Swift or ObjectiveC)

• Knowledge of developing REST services is preferred

• Familiarity with one or more beta app framework such as TestFlight, HockeyApp, Google Play Beta, AppBlade, Appaloosa, etc

• Experience with hybrid tools\frameworks\API’s such as PhoneGap, Xamarin, Ionic, Titanium, Appcelerator, jQuery Mobile, Dojo Mobile, Sencha Touch, Cordova, etc.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or science-related field
