We are looking to hire a software professional who is a self-starter and is accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment. The right candidate must have an understanding of mobile UI Design and fluency in multiple programming languages, application development tools, experience and willingness to work in Android and iOS platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver across the entire app life cycle –concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support
- Work with product and marketing teams to conceptualize, create new and innovative ways to improve mobile applications that can ensure excellent customer experience
- Gather requirements around functionality and translate into functional solutions
- Collaborate with UI Designers, Product engineers and QA to obtain feedback and enhance mobile applications
- Development tasks include: coding, testing, debugging, documenting, peer-reviewing, deploying, monitoring, and support
- Consistently write performance-minded, highly readable code using OO best practices
- Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences
- 3+ years developing mobile application for iOS and Android
- Successfully released apps on the App Store and Google Play (please include names of published apps)
- Excellent product and design sense with an understanding of mobile UI Design and fluency in multiple programming languages/application development tools including Java, Objective C, RESTful Services, Push Notifications, and JSON
- iOS:
- Experience leveraging the iOS frameworks to access native capabilities of iPhone/iPad, such as camera and location services
- Strong understanding of the Apple Human Interface Guidelines for iOS
- Strong skills in debugging any error/ crash in Xcode
- Android:
- Experience developing Android apps using Android SDK/NDK
- Strong experience in Java
- Understanding of Android security protocols
- Strong understanding of interactive application development paradigms, memory management, file I/O, network and socket programming, concurrency and multi-threading
- Experience working with Version Control Tools
- Experience developing in an Agile development environment
- Strong understanding and experience in Object-Oriented solution design using UML and design patterns
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript and jQuery
- 5 years of full life-cycle and iterative development, with a good understanding of test-driven development
- Experience supporting both iOS and Android
