Mobile Software Engineer - Android

Overview We are seeking a full-time Mobile Software Engineer (Android) to join our Company Golf Apps Team at our headquarters in Olathe, KS. This individual will join the Company Golf Apps team and participate in the development of Company applications using modern software development practices, coding standards, and release processes. Responsibilities Essenmtial Functions: Writing, testing, and debugging Kotlin and Java code Using tools such as Android Studio, Git, Bitbucket, and Jira in the software development process Architecting and implementing designs for software components within a larger project Participating in peer code reviews Providing reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem-solving techniques Estimating level of effort, evaluating new options of similar technology, and offering suggestions to improve processes Mentoring less experienced software engineers Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders around the world Qualifications Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or another relevant engineering/technical field from a four-year college or university AND a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Basic Qualifications Demonstrated experience designing, writing, testing, and debugging object-oriented code in Kotlin and Java Proficiency with Android frameworks such as Room, Dagger, and Retrofit Proficiency interacting with RESTful APIs using JSON Experience integrating and maintaining third-party software packages Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and prioritize work for multiple simultaneous projects Desired Qualifications Interest in and familiarity with golf Experience with computer graphics development platforms such as Unity Familiarity with CI/CD tools and the app deployment process Company International is an equal opportunity employer.
