Job description

Role Purpose

The central Build Project Management team acts as the principal liaison between the Platform Engineering, Regional Field, Network and Customer Operations, Supplier Management, Logistics, Delivery groups and premium Customers to support all network build activities. Projects are typically related to new capacity installation; network recovery or infrastructure build projects across EXA’ s Pan European network.

Basically, projects are based on underlying platform type and can be divided into two types: Customer Driven & Capacity/Network strategically driven.



Key responsibilities

  • Administrative support to Network Projects
  • The main responsibility of the role is to ensure proper Network Projects Support and clean Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRMs) and Network Inventory Systems – which are crucial for the Cost of Revenue and Business Operations
  • Leads Administration and Inventory of Network Services and related process flows – New, Change Order, Disconnect in all CRMs
  • Leads simple Network Projects
  • Manage New, Change Order and Disconnect Network services pipeline with guidance and support from Project Managers in all CRMs
  • Create, administrate, and coordinate provisioning of new Network Services in CRMs, Network Inventory Systems and with vendors
  • Trigger Change activities, administrate and coordinate changes in CRMs for existing network services with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate Network Services disconnect process, CRM (mainly Network Inventory Systems) updates including vendors coordination and vendors systems
  • Manage all services updates in CRMs after migrations related to network projects – bulk updates of Network and Customer services
  • Align work processes to defined build Key Performance Indicators and internal Service Level Agreements
  • Support Team Manager in admin project shop cleanse programs in CRMs and general network stats and reports
  • Lead Network Services stats reporting via CRMs and indicate re-occurring problems + provide resolution proposals
  • Lead internal small Cost of Revenue /Network Saving/ programs, reporting and proposals



Individual Profile

  • Ideally but not essential previous project management/coordination experience in a multi-national Telco/IT environment
  • Experience with extensive usage of any Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) – Oracle, Siebel , Sales Force , CMD , etc.
  • Good knowledge of telco related technologies, Infrastructure and Facility, Transmission, IP and Voice technology and principles.
  • Proactive in nature, works to identify ways to continually improve efficiency and results
  • Anticipates and analyses problems clearly and determines appropriate solutions or alternatives
  • Proficient in the use of MS Project Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Network Inventory Systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and work ethics
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent organizational and communication skills
  • A sense of urgency and an ability to convey this to peers, management, and suppliers alike
  • Attention to detail and a highly structured approach to work management
  • Able to operate in a cross-functional matrix-management environment
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Sense for time management

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Fluent English language skills are essential
