Cloud Application Engineer（Application Engineering Division）
【Description about the division】You will become part of the Application Engineering Division and will be assigned to the Finance Area. The Finance Area relies heavily on the latest (cloud) technology for our IT infrastructure. To implement, improve and maintain these systems you will be working in one team together with other Engineers, and Actuaries/Business Analysts.
【Job Description】
・As a member of the finance squad, you are responsible for migrating, improving, and redesigning the on-premises ETL solution to Azure.
・As a member of the finance squad, you have to actively communicate with business users to understand the business requirements and deliver solutions based on the requirements by working with other engineers across the company
・To create deliverables for finance area users, you need to perform the following duties:
- Development is conducted based on the requirements of business users in the finance domain, such as payment, accounting, procurement, actuary, and investment.
- Providing user support regarding applications and ETL supported by the finance squad.
- Communicate with business users in Japanese to understand the business requirements
- Manage IT services consistently with the firm's ITSM policies, such as access management, periodic permission review.
- Configure and manage development and release using Azure Devops
- Monitor and optimize Azure SQL database to enable efficient calculations over million of rows
- Design and implement Azure migration for other on-premise solutions
- Develop and manage following the Scrum methodology, potentially in the scrum master role
- Communicate and coordinate with multiple teams with different working styles and backgrounds

【Qualification(Experience/Certification)】
【Must】Experience in Application development with basic Software Development skills (>3 years)
Experience in public Cloud computing(>2 years) ,
Experience with Azure is preferable.
Experience in SQL (>2 years)
Basic understanding of algorithm and programming language like python, Java or C++
Japanese (business level, JLPT N2)、
English(Business level)
Communicate directly with business users and actively provide user support.
Proactive attitude,
Willing to learn and acquire new information and knowledge swiftly.

Experience in developing solution with Python, Pandas and Pyspark
Experience in Devops and CI/CD practices
