You Are:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading development teams and designing scalable technical solutions, with a strong understanding of microservices architecture, back-end development with Node.js, and best development practices. They will be adept at working collaboratively with business, architecture, QA, and development teams
The opportunity:
· Provide technical leadership to the development team and support architectural decision-making.
· Design, develop, and maintain solutions based on Node.js, REST APIs, and microservices.
· Define development standards, code quality guidelines, and best practices.
· Participate in technical refinements, estimations, and project planning.
· Guide code reviews, provide technical mentoring, and address risks.
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position.
Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need:
· More than 5 years of experience in software development and at least 2 years in technical leadership roles.
· Proficiency in Node.js, REST APIs, microservices architecture, and SQL Server.
· Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Git.
· Knowledge of architectural patterns, continuous integration (CI/CD), and testing practices. Experience with React.js and full-stack architectures is desirable.
· Knowledge of application security (OWASP, JWT, OAuth), observability, and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
· Experience leading teams, defining technical standards, and communicating with business and technology stakeholders.
