We are seeking a NTCSS/MFOM Software Installation Engineer.
This is a Telework role.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supports the Project Manager and Installation Lead in the execution of correct, complete, reliable and maintainable software installations and provide training for US Navy shore facilities and afloat units with the NTCSS (Naval Tactical Command Support System) and MFOM (Maintenance Figure of Merit) suite of applications. Travel is required.
Qualifications/Education:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Physical Sciences, Information Security, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Business.
or
- 10 years of experience AND professional certifications including CompTIA Security+CE AND Microsoft MCTS or MCSA for server operating systems.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ten (10) years of experience in the installation and operation of US Navy IT Systems, specifically afloat network environments (ISNS, CANES) and Navy Maintenance applications and systems. Knowledge of (NTCSS, R-Supply, MFOM, VSB, NMD, AWN, CASREP, and eTAGOUT) would be a standout candidate.
- Applicant should have a thorough understanding of and ability to execute technical instructions and possess the ability to utilize analytical/logical thinking with an emphasis in Verification and Validation activities to install and troubleshoot specific applications into existing IT environments.
- Candidate must be detail oriented, have good time management skills to successfully complete software installations and all accompanying documentation of the installation, validation, and training processes and provide timely reports to the Project Manager.
- Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable providing training to end users in both group and one-on-one situations. We are looking to add exceptional team members that are willing to shorten learning curves and hit the ground running.

- Must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.
