Job description

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Facility: Ascension Medical Group Clinic

Department: Float Pool Staffing

Schedule: Must be available during the hours of 7A-7P Monday-Friday | 40 hour work week | floating to all locations in greater North Indianapolis Region | Weekends optional if there is a need.

Bonus: Float Pool Incentive

  • Create a seamless patient arrival experience by managing the check-in and out process with a focus on hospitality and clinical readiness.
  • Lead the accuracy of patient care records by verifying demographic and insurance data to ensure every patient’s journey is documented correctly from the start.
  • Support the financial health of the clinic by securing necessary insurance authorizations and managing daily co-payments and deposits with expert precision.
  • Orchestrate the clinic’s daily flow by scheduling appointments and managing medical record requests to keep the healthcare team and the patients perfectly in sync.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum Qualification: Six months of experience working in an administrative support role in a medical office setting.
