The Offloader is responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading materials that include finished product and raw materials as well as monitoring materials to ensure proper labeling, specifications and shelf life.
Responsibilities
- Loading and shipping bulk/packaged finished product, ensuring that the product shipped is within specification.
- Unloading shipments of bulk/packaged raw materials ensuring that the materials received meet specifications.
- Ensure that warehoused material is properly labeled for use and shipment.
- Report materials that do not meet shelf-life requirements or specifications.
- Operation of a trackmobile.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Department Specific: Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.
- Participate in continuous improvement programs.
- Attend safety meetings and required training.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent - or Equivalent - Required
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous warehousing experience - Preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Must meet all performance requirements of an Offloader.
- Specific training requirements are outlined in the Employee Training Matrix (see QSP-008A).
- Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing utilizing the English language.
