Job Title: Operations Supervisor

What will your day look like?

  • Review of operational information: Monitoring real-time satellite tracking, weather reports, and flight status updates through the Samara application and AlpsBooking to ensure all schedules execute seamlessly.

  • Management of live schedules & fleet logistics: Optimizing door-to-door transfer routes, assigning drivers and vehicles, and reallocating capacity dynamically during unforeseen traffic or weather delays.

  • Supervision of driving staff: Overseeing daily driver check-ins, enforcing legal driving hours and EU tachograph compliance, and handling shift handovers.

  • Incident response & problem-solving: Acting as the operational hub during your shift to handle driver emergencies, breakdown scenarios, missing passengers, or urgent schedule changes.

  • Customer & department coordination: Liaising directly with airport representatives, fleet managers, and call centers in English and French to deliver top-tier customer service.

What do we need from you?

  • Mandatory Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on operational experience using AlpsBooking software AND the Samara application (Non-negotiable).

  • Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in English and intermediate-to-advanced French (B2/C1 minimum for daily driver/supplier communication). Spanish language ability is a distinct bonus.

  • Shift & Weekend Availability: Complete willingness to work variable shift patterns, including mandatory weekends, early morning starts (07:00), and late-night finishes (23:00+).

  • Industry Knowledge: Proven background in passenger transport operations, route optimization, and EU tachograph/driver hours rules.

  • Mindset & Soft Skills: Highly proactive, resilient under pressure, assertive in decision-making, collaborative, and eager to take ownership of complex logistics.

  • IT Literacy: High level of computer literacy, including fluency with MS365, Google Suite, and specialized transport back-office tools.
