Technical Capabilities

  • Design, development and support of enterprise-strength interfaces and applications in an Oracle Applications environment, and have an excellent understanding of the Oracle Applications data model, security model and applications architecture
  • Deep knowledge of SDLC and source control tools
  • Experience in data conversion during acquisitions or mergers is preferred
  • Proficiency in the following technologies:
    • PL/SQL, SQL*Plus/TOAD,
    • Oracle*Loader
    • Oracle*Reports
    • Oracle*Forms
    • Oracle*Discoverer
    • UNIX Shell scripting
    • Oracle Workflow Builder
    • XML/BI Publisher
    • JDeveloper/OA Framework/SOA (Plus) 
    • Personalization of Forms/OA Pages
    • Query optimization and performance tuning
    • Understanding of Oracle Application APIs and Object Library

The Role

 

This role is part of a global IT team which will communicate in English within the team but also with the clients.  In addition, the person filling this role will design solutions fitting to the Oracle Applications environment, participate with leadership in the development of project plans, create technical specifications, write and test application code, and review the technical work of others. In support of existing Oracle Applications ERP environments, and in support of both the user community and Enterprise Systems Development staff, this person will complete problem analysis, remediation planning, and hands-on code and data repair.

Qualification & Experience

  • B.Tech (IT)  or B.E (Computer Science) or equivalent.
  • Masters in computer related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Oracle Applications Developer role, with experience in Payables, Oracle Receivables, Oracle Fixed Assets, Oracle General Ledger, Order Management, Purchasing, Discrete and Project Manufacturing in a multi-org, multi-currency, multi-language environment.
