    Part Time Schedule. Salary to be determined based on the district's collectively bargained agreement and years of experience. 

    Requirements to qualify as a Paraprofessional: 

    • Minimum High School graduate or the equivalent; AND
    • Criminal history background clearance;

    Paraprofessionals are expected to assist in the supervision of classroom activities under the direction and supervision of the certified classroom teacher, principal or other certified personnel. 

    Your duties may include the following responsibilities: 

    • Assist the classroom teacher in the delivery of an effective instructional program.
    • Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of academic material and skills introduced by the teacher.
    • Assist with large group activities such as projects, crafts, drill work, storytelling and curriculum tasks including routine quizzes or pre-tests.
    • Help students master learning equipment or instructional materials as assigned by teacher.
    • Assist in providing a safe environment with limited distractions.
    • Assist with the supervision of students during emergency drills, assemblies, play periods, playground and field trips.
    • Help students with their clothing, snack & cleanup routines and toileting activities as necessary.
    • Supervise students in the cafeteria during meals.
    • Supervise students at recess.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
