Job description

ANNOUNCEMENT

 

Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for part-time instructors for Technical Math for Electricity and Electronics department. Part-time instructors are hired on an as-needed basis. Your application will be placed in a pool for review as part-time teaching assignments become available.     

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Part-time faculty in Technical Math for Electricity and Electronics are responsible for teaching the objectives of each Technical Math course assigned, the assessment of student learning, and reporting of student progress as required by the college.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree with 16 semester hours of college mathematics is required.
  2. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  3. Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers, applicable software, and Internet – dependent on the needs of course delivery.

 

STARTING SALARY:  Salary varies based on educational level and number of units taught.

Technical Math for Electricity and Electronics courses are offered at the SWIC Sam Wolf Granite City Campus.
