About The Role

Practice Plus Group is the UK’s leading independent provider of NHS services to patient in Secure Environments – prisons, immigration removal centres (IRCs) and non-custodial services, and Integrated Urgent Care - NHS 111, Out-of-Hours (OOH) and Clinical Assessment Centres (CAS).

We are recruiting for an Payroll Administrator to support the wider finance team within our Central Services function.

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for processing the company payroll data in a timely and accurate manner and providing support to the wider payroll team.

This role works closely with the Senior Payroll and Payroll Analysts across 4 company payrolls which hold a total 6247 employees to ensure that employee salaries are paid correctly and on schedule

Hours
 
 This role is full time at 37.5 hours per week - A fixed term contract for 9 months. 
Monday - Friday
0900 - 1700
Mainly working from home but will be required to work from the office in Theale 1 day a week (Usually a Thursday).

Salary


Up to £27,000 per annum.

What you'll be doing




As a Payroll Administrator your responsibilities will vary. You will

  • Providing information and answering employee questions about payroll related matters
  • Preparing and issuing Earnings Statements
  • Processing Starters, Leavers and adjustments to employee pay
  • Running monthly payroll reporting data
  • Providing support to the Senior Payroll Analyst and Payroll Analysts with any ad hoc duties each month
  • Maintaining accurate data on various company spreadsheets
  • Administration and monitoring of payroll mailboxes

Experience required

  • 5 GCSE’s Grade 9-4/A-C including English and Maths
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Previous office administration experience
  • Previous payroll experience would be advantageous but not required
