As a PHP Developer at eCarsTrade, you will be at the forefront of our platform's development, contributing to its scalability, reliability, and performance. You will work alongside a talented team of developers and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that drive business growth. We are looking for someone with expertise in Laravel, Docker, and queues, who can lead technical initiatives and inspire excellence within the team.Job requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development, with a strong emphasis on Laravel framework.
- Proficiency in Docker for containerization and deployment of applications.
- Experience with implementing and optimizing queues for background processing of tasks.
- Solid understanding of scaling principles for backend systems and infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for writing clean, efficient code.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on schedule and within budget.
- Experience with CI/CD principles and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate team members, drive technical initiatives, and lead by example.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and enhance backend applications using PHP and Laravel framework to support eCarsTrade's auction platform.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable solutions to accommodate the rapid growth of our user base.
- Utilize Docker for containerization and orchestration, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability.
- Implement and optimize queues for asynchronous processing of tasks, enhancing system performance.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Lead efforts to optimize backend performance, reliability, and scalability, leveraging best practices and innovative technologies.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and delivery processes, ensuring rapid and reliable releases.
- Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth and development.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach, focusing on delivering value-added features and enhancements that meet the needs of our users.
