You’ll Support Meaningful Work By:
- Designing, developing, testing, and implementing new features and enhancements using PHP and Symfony.
- Building and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications.
- Collaborating with product, design, and engineering partners to define and implement technical solutions.
- Integrating applications with RESTful web services and third-party APIs.
- Ensuring code quality through unit testing, functional testing, and code reviews.
- Applying object-oriented programming principles and software engineering best practices.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, development standards, and technical documentation.
- Supporting deployment processes and maintaining reliable application performance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of software development experience.
- Experience developing applications using PHP (preferably Symfony or Laravel).
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience working with RESTful web services and APIs.
- Experience using Git version control.
- Experience with unit and functional testing.
- Advanced English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with colleagues across different time zones.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience working within an e-commerce environment.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
- Knowledge of additional web development frameworks and technologies such as Bootstrap or jQuery.
- Experience optimizing application performance, scalability, and security.
- Experience collaborating within international and cross-functional development teams.
