Physical Security Systems Engineer

Purpose

IOS Security are looking for a high-performing and experienced Systems Engineer. As a Systems Engineer you will be responsible for making sure the Physical Security PSIM, Intercoms and associated Infrastructure are meeting or exceeding requirements. The System Engineer will need to configure the dedicated software, and work closely with IT, 3rd party vendors and end users.

Key Missions

• Install and configure physical security systems (PSIM, Intercoms, CCTV, ACS and IAS) according to established design standards and best practices.
• Ensure all system components are functioning correctly, integrated seamlessly with existing infrastructures, and compliant with regulatory and corporate policies.
• Serve as a primary escalation point for technical issues, managing and resolving complex incidents.
• Coordinate with vendors, IT, and internal teams to drive swift resolution for critical system outages or security vulnerabilities.
• Continuously review and update existing design and operational procedures, identifying areas for improvement or optimization.
• Provide training, documentation, and guidance to system users and junior team members.
• Prepare regular status reports and communications for leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for system enhancement, automation, or process streamlining.
• Propose and implement improvement ideas that align with business goals and emerging technologies.

Profile & Other Information

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in IT or Physical Security Systems (e.g., PSIM, Access Control, CCTV, Intruder, Intercoms).
• Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain technology solutions within a highly regulated environment.
• Solid understanding of operating systems, networks, virtualization, and scripting/automation techniques.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams as needed.
• Familiarity with configuration and design of physical security platforms is essential.
• Experience working in a corporate environment with a matrix organization structure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring consistent adherence to policies and protocols.
• Global travel when needed
• Fluency in English required;
