We are seeking a passionate and skilled Piano Instructor to join our team remotely. As a piano instructor, you will teach students of varying skill levels, helping them develop their musical abilities through engaging and tailored lessons. The ideal candidate will bring expertise, creativity, and dedication to provide an enriching learning experience using advanced virtual teaching tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach piano lessons to students across different skill levels, from beginners to advanced.
- Create personalized lesson plans tailored to the individual needs and learning goals of students.
- Use advanced virtual teaching platforms and resources to enhance lesson delivery.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to ensure students' growth and improvement.
- Maintain open communication with students and their families to monitor progress.
- Encourage and support students in developing both technical skills and musical expression.
- Adapt teaching methods based on the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
Requirements
- Education: A degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, relevant teaching certifications or significant experience in teaching piano are acceptable.
- Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in teaching piano, either remotely or in person, with a strong understanding of various teaching techniques and methods.
- Skills:
- Proficient in piano performance, including classical and contemporary styles.
- Ability to teach both beginner and advanced students.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms (Zoom, Skype, etc.) and music teaching software (e.g., Simply Piano, Flowkey, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain musical concepts clearly.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt lessons to different learning styles and levels.
- Technical Requirements:
- A reliable internet connection and a suitable device to conduct lessons (computer/tablet with camera and microphone).
- A professional and quiet space for teaching.
