Job Description

We invite applications for multiple Postdoc positions in the Accelerated Connected Computing Lab (ACCL) at KAUST! The new research group, supervised by Suhaib Fahmy explores hardware acceleration in a connected context, investigating how accelerators can be designed, integrated, and scaled for emerging large scale and networked applications. We are interested in new ways of virtualising, programming, and connecting accelerators to enhance performance, latency, and efficiency in emerging applications.

Our current projects are exploring hardware acceleration in smart NICs, application-specific coarse grained reconfigurable arrays (CGRAs), virtualisation of FPGAs using partial reconfiguration, and accelerator support for machine learning.

Postdocs at KAUST enjoy generous salaries and free accommodation and healthcare on a world class campus with ample recreational facilities and a private beach. KAUST offers you the opportunity to pursue world-class research among a highly diverse student/postdoc population of high achievers, and interaction with world-leading faculty across a range of disciplines.

Postdoc applicants should get in touch at [email protected], attaching a CV and discussing their experience and interest in one of the areas mentioned above. KAUST offers highly competitive postdoc salaries, taking into account prior academic and industrial experience.
