About the Program

Our Summer Internship Program offers college students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on, real-world experience while contributing to meaningful work that impacts our business. Interns will be paired with a project that aligns with their area of interest and will have the unique opportunity to present their work and results directly to our Executive Leadership Team (ELT) at the conclusion of the program.


Program Dates

First week of June 2027 – Second week of August 2027 (approximately 10 weeks)

  • Arlington, TX (Engineering, Project Development, Finance)
  • Midland, TX (Engineering, Project Development)
  • Chicago, IL (Sales Advisory)
  • Wakefield, MA (Sales Advisory)

Internship Overview

We are seeking motivated, curious, and driven students to join our Summer Internship Program. Interns will be embedded within one of our core business functions: Engineering, Project Development, Finance, Sales Enablement or Sales Advisory and will work alongside experienced professionals on projects that directly support company milestones and goals. This is not a "shadow and observe" internship; interns are expected to contribute real work, solve real problems, and deliver real results.


In addition to daily tasks, each intern will be assigned an individual capstone project relevant to their focus area, which they will develop throughout the summer and present to the Executive Leadership Team at the end of the program. 


What You'll Do

  • Integrate into and support a team within Engineering, Project Development, Finance, Sales Enablement or Sales Advisory based on your area of focus
  • Take ownership of a meaningful project with real business impact from day one
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and receive mentorship from experienced professionals
  • Participate in ongoing learning opportunities, including brown-bag sessions, leadership talks, and networking events with other interns
  • Develop a final presentation and deliverable to summarize your project's approach, findings, and recommendations
  • Present your project outcomes to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) at the close of the program


Areas of Focus


Engineering Support design, analysis, testing, or technical problem-solving on active projects; assist with process improvements, technical documentation, or project engineering initiatives.

Project Development Assist with project planning, feasibility analysis, scheduling, permitting, or stakeholder coordination for projects in active development.

Finance Support financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, or analysis to help inform business and investment decisions.

Sales Enablement Support the development of sales tools, training materials, market/competitive research, or process improvements that help the sales team work more effectively.

Sales Advisory Support sale advisors in contacting prospective customers within Priority Power Management's energy procurement vertical.


(Specific project assignments will be determined based on business needs and intern interests/skillsets.) 


Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (or recent graduate), preferably in a field related to the area of focus (e.g., Engineering, Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related discipline)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); additional technical skills a plus depending on focus area
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a desire to learn
  • Ability to commit to the full duration of the program (first week of June through second week of August)
  • Reliable housing and transportation within resonable commute to one of the Priority Power Management locations listed above
