Process & Proposal Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• ·        Excellent knowledge of process design and
  calculations of water and wastewater treatment systems
  
• ·        Prepare detailed BOQ based on the process selected
  
• ·        Sizing Calculation and Budgeting of Industrial
  Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), STP (ASP, MBR, MBBR, SBR, FAB, SAFF), ZLD, produced
  water, Oil- Water Treatment system, UF, RO (SWRO, BWRO), DM, EDI, etc
  
• ·        Prepare detailed Technical & commercial Proposals
  based on the RFQ
  
• ·        Calculations of power & chemical consumption
  
• ·        Preparation of Basic Engineering documents
  consisting of P&IDs, Hydraulic Flow Diagram, process calculations,
  Equipment selection calculations, Pipe sizing calculations, Equipment Load
  List, Plant Layout etc.
  
• ·        Attending the Engineering meeting with client/
  consultant.
  
• ·        Coordination with client / client’s consultant for
  obtaining approval of Basic Engineering documents and detailed engineering
  drawings
  
• ·        Preparation of detailed tender enquiries for
  various equipment pipes, valves, packages etc. based on the approved Basic
  Engineering documents.
  
• ·        Evolution of offers received from Projects/SCM for
  various equipment/ piping/ valves/ packages etc.
  
• ·        Preparation of Tender Recommendation (technical)
  and issue of the same to Projects/SCM.
  
• ·        Preparation of Technical Data to be attached along
  with purchase orders of equipment / Units.
  
• ·        Submission of Vendor drawings to Client/Client’s
  consultant and obtaining the approval for the same.
  
• ·        Study of Tender document and preparation of Pre-Bid
  Queries
  
• ·        Attending Pre bid clarification meeting with client
  and site visit
  
• ·        Preparation of Mechanical/Civil BOQ including
  piping & Valve BOQ
  
• ·        Sending Tender enquiries for all bought out items
  obtaining quotation
  
• ·        Technical evaluation of offers received from the
  various vendors
  
• ·        Preparation of technical Offer and List of
  Deviations and assumptions
  
• ·        Filling of Tender data sheets.
  
• ·        Knowledge of equipment selection, piping design,
  sizing, selection, etc
  
• ·        Co-ordinate with sales engineer for proposals and
  site inspections
  
• ·        Build relationships with key subcontractors,
  suppliers, engineers, etc
  
• ·        Prepare technical presentations of projects and involve
  in client meetings
  
• ·        Maintain Client and vendor correspondence &
  database
  
• ·        Design, Engineering, Proposal/ Tendering &
  Estimation of EPC Projects in Sugar, Distillery and Municipality sectors
  
• ·        Selection of Pumps, Valves, and instruments based
  on the Process selected
  
• ·        Preparation of P&ID, PFD, hydraulic diagrams,
  plant layout, SLD, etc
  
• ·        Handle design pre-and post-order of the proposed
  project
  
• ·        Site visit during commissioning if require.
  
• ·        Interaction with client during pre-bid, post bid
  and commissioning.
  

Requirements

Desired Candidate Profile

• ·        Experienced in all engineering and technical
  disciplines in the water & wastewater treatment processes and proposals
  
• ·        Proven working experience as a Sr. Process and
  Proposal Engineer with experience of a minimum of 5 years
  
• ·        Experience in tender documents in sugar &
  distillery sector requirements
  
• ·        Graduate/Post-Graduate in Mechanical/Chemical
  Engineering (or equivalent)
  
• ·        System/ Process knowledge in water treatment
  systems like Reverse Osmosis De-mineralisation, Re-mineralisation, Raw water
  pre-treatment, Seawater desalination, Ultra filtration system, Condensate
  polishing unit, effluent recycle plant, etc
  
• ·         Knowledge
  and application of different technologies, equipment & products
