What You’ll Do--

· Research, design and develop processes to optimize quality, productivity and workflow

· Develop production routes and define process parameters of cold drawn production operations

· Develop standard operating procedures, document project results and changes, prepare periodic reports

· Lead projects related to product and process industrialization

· Lead data driven assessing of manufacturing processes to improve timing, costs and quality

· Develop best practices and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output

· Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, procedures and operations

· Define and develop operating instructions and procedures

· Develop data analysis and reports to provide feedback and recommendations to improve

· Drive SMED efforts

· Tooling design and tooling management

· Assist production and train teams in the field of new processes and procedures

· Contribute to the continuous improvement system of the manufacturing facility

Qualifications---

· BS in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering

· Experience in Six Sigma implementation, certification preferred

· 2+ years experience as a process engineer preferred
