Role Overview

EID is looking for a Process Engineer (Process Operations and Control Technician) to join its Industrial Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing manufacturing processes across electronic assemblies, cable harnesses, subassemblies, and final products.

Working closely with Development Engineering (R&D), Quality, Production, and Testing teams, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful industrialization of products while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, reliability, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for PCB assemblies, cable harnesses, subassemblies, and final products;

  • Define, validate, and optimize electronic assembly processes, including SMT, THT, soldering, and rework activities;

  • Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions;

  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, FMEAs, control plans, and process specifications;

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and process optimization projects;

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Production, Planning, and Logistics teams to ensure efficient and reliable operations.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with PCB assembly processes, inspection systems (AOI and X-ray), and manufacturing testing environments;

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and industrial performance indicators;

  • Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools such as Advanced Excel and Power BI;

  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and other manufacturing support tools.
