Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize existing processes and workflows.
- Conduct in-depth technical analysis of process data, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure ongoing enhancement of processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and industry standards.
- Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure that processes meet or exceed product quality specifications.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to monitor and maintain high standards.
- Identify, develop, and lead capital projects based on business needs and contentious improvement observations.
- Manage contractors associated with capital projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Identify and address potential safety hazards in the manufacturing processes.
- Conduct cost analyses related to process changes and improvements.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining or improving product quality.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes, changes, and improvements.
- Provide training and support to production teams regarding new processes and changes.
- Collaborate with operators and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues.
- Evaluate and implement initiatives to minimize the environmental impact of manufacturing processes.

Essential Skills, Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering.
- Preferred 1-5 years of experience as a Process Engineer within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Project management experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with process simulation tools and statistical analysis methods.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Continuous improvement mindset and commitment to quality
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (2D AutoCAD would be a plus)
