Job Description

What You’ll Do

Set Up Production Equipment

✔ Set up machines at the start of production runs, including calibration, cleaning, and adjustments.

✔ Load raw materials and prepare semi-automated production equipment.

✔ Adjust machine settings such as speed, alignment, and operating parameters.

✔ Ensure proper setup before and during production runs to support consistent output.

Operate and Monitor Machines

✔ Operate production equipment throughout the shift to produce high-quality parts.

✔ Feed raw material or components into machines as needed.

✔ Monitor machine performance and make adjustments during production.

✔ Perform periodic checks to ensure machines are running efficiently and correctly.

Ensure Quality and Consistency

✔ Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

✔ Check finished output for defects such as trim quality, thickness, color variation, or structural issues.

✔ Separate and document approved and non-conforming parts.

✔ Maintain accurate production and quality records.

Troubleshoot and Support Production Flow

✔ Identify and resolve minor machine or process issues during production.

✔ Communicate equipment or quality concerns to leadership or maintenance as needed.

✔ Help reduce scrap and improve production consistency.

✔ Support continuous improvement efforts on the production floor.

Maintain a Safe and Organized Work Area

✔ Follow all safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements.

✔ Maintain clean and organized workstations.

✔ Use required PPE at all times.

✔ Follow all production instructions and documentation requirements.

Required Qualifications

✔ Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
