The Sawyer is responsible for operating the lumber saw and accurately cutting lumber to specifications for truss and panel production. This position supports manufacturing operations by maintaining production flow, organizing cut materials, and following all safety and quality standards.
The Forklift Material Handler for Components is responsible for operating forklifts to move and manage heavy materials, including lumber, OSB, roof trusses, floor trusses, and engineered wood products (EWP) within our yard and production areas. Your efforts will be vital in ensuring materials are properly stored, organized, and efficiently delivered to their next destination. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality production processes and timely delivery, working closely with the manufacturing and sales teams to uphold our core values while fostering a customer-obsessed culture of growth and continuous improvement.
The Truss Builder is responsible to build wood roof and floor trusses to engineered specifications, following MiTek plate placement and connector plate pressing procedures with zero tolerance for spec deviation. Read and interpret truss design drawings accurately, flagging any discrepancies between the print and the job before proceeding. Operate table saws, jigs, and pneumatic presses safely and efficiently to meet daily production quotas. Maintain consistent quality checks throughout the build — plate seating, dimensional accuracy, lumber grade — so trusses pass inspection the first time. Keep the work area organized and safe, following all OSHA and company safety protocols. Communicate proactively with the shift lead about material shortages, equipment issues, or spec questions before they become production delays.
