Position Title: Program Analyst, Journeyman (Advanced Development Team — Engineering) (PMA 213)

Salary Requirement: $110,000 — $120,000 ***This is an estimated salary range. Compensation will be commensurate with experience***   

Position Type: Exempt

Clearance Level Required: Secret

Functional Description:  

  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
  • Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.
  • Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapons/project acquisitions and product programs.
  • Tracks program/project status and schedules.
  • Applies government-instituted process for documentation, change control management and data management.
  • Supports and tracks Configuration Management or assigned projects. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Attends, supports and updates program/project briefings, schedules and acquisitions documentation.
  • Conducts research, business case analysis and technical reviews of in support of assigned programs/projects.
  • Reviews and provides recommendations to program/project budgets, support program/project team leadership in management, tracking of acquisitions milestones, cost schedule & performance documentation, and other assign duties as required.
  • Supports the configuration management board, review engineering documentation. 

Required Experience:        

  

Journeyman level — at least 3 years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description. 


Desired Experience:     


At least 3 years of experience supporting NAVAIR programs. 


Education Requirements  


BA/BS degree in Engineering or related field or supplemental experience is required.
