Job description

Summary

You will serve as a Program Analyst at the GG-13 grade level responisble for advanced research and development projects in support of Naval Intelligence activities.

Duties

  • You will evaluate system performance requirements and conduct analysis and trade studies of proposals related to maritime sensor technology.
  • You will oversee feasibility studies for design, fabrication, testing and certification of systems under development or undergoing improvements.
  • You will determine technical feasibility and level of effort required to complete projects, and monitor and evaluate cost and schedule of system development projects.
  • You will apply functional experience in project management, budget execution, engineering principles, and system operations to support mission objectives.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level of GS/GG-12. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following such as: 1. Possess and maintain functional experience in project management, budget management, engineering, and/or system operations. 2. Possess and maintain technical expertise with intelligence collection systems, maritime sensor technology, robotics, acoustics, and/or unmanned systems. 3. Assess Naval and maritime systems capabilities to identify capability gaps and system development specifications. 4. Determine system performance requirements and conduct analysis and trade studies of proposals related to maritime sensor technology; 5. Determine level of effort required to complete intelligence collection system projects; and identifies risks and impact to schedule and cost; 6.
