Job description

Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties

  • You will provide technical input and advice to the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) and Contract Specialist.
  • You will monitor AUKUS I and A contract performance and execution, including submission of timely monthly reports and Tripwire assessments.
  • You will serve as COR to perform duties as appointed in accordance with NAVSEA Instruction 4200.17 series in order to represent the PCO and to ensure proper execution of contracts for AUKUS I and A.
  • You will provide oversight of contractor performance and contract execution to ensure financial and technical compliance with the contract terms and conditions.
  • You will communicate with the PCO and Contract Specialist on a routine basis regarding contractor oversight, performance, and funding requirements.
  • You will notify the PCO of any contractor performance issues and takes corrective action as appropriate.
  • You will document contractor performance on an annual basis, at a minimum, and submits an annual assessment in the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting Systems (CPARS).
  • You will assist in the development of AUKUS I and A Requests for Proposals (RFP) and subsequent proposal evaluations.
  • You will evaluate the overall contract execution and related costs to ensure that expenditures match mission and program requirements.
  • You will coordinate with the AUKUS I and A Business and Financial Management (BFM) Team to ensure requirements placed on contract are within program budget
  • You will determine funding shortfalls or surplus reallocation of funds with regards to procurements and related support.
  • You will work with foreign partners translating objectives into contractual requirements.
  • You will work with Subject Matter Experts to provide input for Acquisition Strategies.
  • You will work with Subject Matter experts to support the development of Foreign Military Sales cases.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (GS-11 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Monitoring the execution, performance, and/or financial compliance of contracts to ensure rigorous proposal support, invoice validation, budget coordination, CPARS reporting, and/or performance issue resolution within an organization.
