Job description

What we are looking for:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and collaborative Program Analyst to support a DHS front office and broader program operations environment. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys solving problems, organizing information, supporting strategic and operational initiatives, and helping leadership make informed decisions in a fast-paced mission-focused setting. The Program Analyst will support a range of activities including program coordination, data analysis, reporting, stakeholder engagement, process improvement, communications support, and operational tracking. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable balancing analytical responsibilities with coordination and collaboration across teams.

What you'll do:

  • Support day-to-day program operations by coordinating activities, tracking priorities, and ensuring timely execution of deliverables, milestones, and action items.
  • Develop and maintain trackers, dashboards, status reports, and other program management tools to support program execution and leadership visibility.
  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources to prepare reports, briefings, presentations, and executive summaries.
  • Prepare reports, briefings, presentations, and executive summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate across government and contractor teams to support communication, meeting planning, action item tracking, and information sharing.
  • Communicate professionally with stakeholders at all levels and develop correspondence, briefing materials, and meeting summaries.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, operational efficiency, and program coordination while documenting best practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Support strategic initiatives, special projects, and other leadership priorities in a collaborative, solutions-oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent professional experience
  • 2+ years of experience supporting program management, operations, analysis, or coordination efforts in a government or professional services environment
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality deliverables
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to work onsite daily in a professional client environment
  • Active DHS suitability or ability to obtain/maintain required clearance/access
  • Experience supporting DHS or other federal programs or front office environments
  • Familiarity with program management, reporting, or operational coordination processes
  • Experience developing briefings, dashboards, trackers, or executive-level materials
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams

Next Steps:

If your application looks like a match, someone from our People Operations team will reach out to schedule a phone screening. During this conversation, we will determine if the current or future position aligns with your experience and skills. If things go well, from there you'll meet with members from the project team, including the hiring manager and teammates, and possibly be asked to submit a writing assessment to showcase your practical knowledge. If we find you are a match, you’ll get a call offering you the role. While we wish we could hire every great candidate who comes our way, the reality is that we can't. If you are not selected, we will be sure to connect with you and let you know so you can move on with your search. We will also keep your resume for future needs.
