Job Description Summary:

  • To provide technical expertise and support for planning, developing, organizing and coordinating large programs/projects.
  • To research, evaluate and recommend new technologies, methodologies, processes and products to achieve major innovative improvements.
  • To collect, analyze, and produce financial and performance indicators and forecasts.
  • To provide appropriate specifications for and coordination of programs that cross department/division lines.

Job Specific Information:
  • Act as a key leader for our Global Security Development team to deliver valuable product enhancement based on collaboration with our cross opco users. Understand and convey the business processes and problems to the scrum team.
  • The product owner represents the voice of the customer to elicit, understand, analyze, document, refine and communicate business needs, so that business and/or technical delivery teams can build effective solutions.
  • Define and clearly articulate requirements (user stories and features) and acceptance criteria (use cases).
  • Assists in managing requirements and prioritization within the product backlog through  business value ROI, alignment with product strategy, and resource capacity
  • Own the product vision & product backlog, and maintains an updated roadmap
  • Makes recommendations for system and/or process efficiencies to improve user experience
  • Drafts communication to users regarding releases and system issues
  • Utilizes Agility/Version One
  • Develops job aids as needed to support users

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent in business or related quantitative discipline.
  • Five (5) years exempt experience in project/program management, product development, systems design/development or business /financial planning and analysis.
  • Experience in the use of project management/planning software.
  • Experience in planning major projects including development of project proposals, business cases, schedules and financial justification.
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Knowledge of standard program and financial management techniques.
  • Strong human relations, leadership, and communication skills.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:
  • Product owner experience
  • Experience working within Safe Agile or Agile Scrum Team
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing Agility/Versionone tool
  • Security CRM/case management system (eSIMS) knowledge
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Outstanding collaboration, organization, and interpersonal skills

  • This position will be located in Memphis, Tennessee.
