The Program Management Advisor will be responsible for facilitating strategy ideation sessions, operationalizing strategic programs, and lead a team of program and project managers to execute strategic initiatives. This includes aligning executive leaders on scope and outcomes, confirming internal and external resource funding, and establishing the program governance to ensure the budget and business case is whole.
 
This person inspires change, advises cross functional teams, implements policies and procedures, and ensures sustainability is planned and delivered with the solutions. This role will lead all aspects of the successful execution of one or many simultaneous pivotal initiatives.
 
Job Responsibilities:
At a high-level, some of the key responsibilities will include:
·          Lead implementation of strategic initiatives to achieve corporate vision
·          Provide coaching and support to senior executives and sponsors regarding their role in ensuring program and project success, emphasizing non-Technical program elements like organizational readiness to adopt the new solution (processes, data, and technology).
·          Work with executive sponsors and key partners to shape and define programs and projects, including scope, goals and objectives, team deliverables, milestones and activities, resource plan, budget, timing and risks
·          Ensure programs and projects adhere to internal policies and deliver business outcomes within budget and time parameters
·          Manage and drive overall program level reporting, communication, issue management, and cross-workstream risk identification and resolution
·          Build a strong team through open communication and collaboration throughout project life cycles
 
This role will also provide technical expertise and support for planning, developing, organizing and coordinating large programs/projects. To research, evaluate and recommend new technologies, methodologies, processes and products to achieve major innovative improvements. To collect, analyze, and produce financial and performance indicators and forecasts. To provide appropriate specifications for and coordination of programs that cross department/division lines.

Additional Job Duties:

  • Provide leadership to the Platform team to support the organizations strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate and support the implementation of governance process
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure an aligned, defined and mapped to the preferred future state architecture
  • Champion the use of architecture standards, tools, best practices, and development methodologies

  • Ability to gain an in-depth understanding of business and ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understood business terms
  • Proven ability to assess processes and guide improvements

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent in business or related quantitative discipline. Five (5) years exempt experience in project/program management, product development, systems design/development or business /financial planning and analysis. Experience in the use of project management/planning software. Experience in planning major projects including development of project proposals, business cases, schedules and financial justification. Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and planning skills. Knowledge of standard program and financial management techniques. Strong human relations, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
·          PMP certification or Six Sigma experience preferred
·          Diverse and/or large enterprise work experience in program management
·          Comfortable presenting to senior business leaders with strong facilitation, conflict resolution, negotiation and influencing skills
·          Strong leadership skills, able to work within a matrixed organization
·          Proven leadership and collaboration skills
·          Excellent communication skills, both written and oral to audiences at all levels
·          Proven analytical skills on large initiatives/projects
·          Ability to make progress in ambiguous situations with minimal supervision
·          Effective project and program management capabilities
·          Manage several complex projects concurrently
·          Proven ability to drive strategy to execution
