Position will support a wide variety of human resources support duties requiring knowledge and application of human resources guidelines and regulations; experience processing and tracking human resources related actions.
1) Organizational support
The Contractor shall interface with command support services in the initiation and tracking of trouble tickets, equipment and furniture moves and requests for initialization/relocation of phone and other IT equipment. The Contractor shall provide support to the Directorate in executing administrative tasks and other tasks as required.
2) Training support
The Contractor shall serve as the training coordinator for SEA 09 and support the tracking, recording and reporting of mandatory training requirements; identify and disseminate additional training opportunities for personal and professional development; assist with the development and routing of SF-182 Authorization, Agreement And Certification of Training and SECNAV 5050 Conference Request forms; provide assistance in the use of Waypoints for the development of Individual Development Plans.
3) HR support
The Contractor will support the management of programs related to HR and shall advise on the interpretation, application, and implementation of rules, regulations and processes. The Contractor shall provide professional assistance to supervisors in various personnel areas including, employee development, performance management and awards processing. The contractor shall provide assistance with data entry, tracking and reporting of all elements of CAS2NET.
The Contractor shall support classification, position management and organizational reviews, analyze findings and provide recommendations for correction and improvement. The Contractor shall preserve the confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of all Personally Identifiable Information (PII) by all acceptable means.
Mandatory Skill Requirements:
This position requires a dynamic, independent and trustworthy person able to work with minimal direction to accomplish broad objectives and conformance to policy. The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills lending to simultaneous professional management of multiple tasks
- Employs advanced professional customer service communication techniques to ensure professional and productive voice, written, and electronic communications with customers
Security Clearance: This position requires a current U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) SECRET security clearance and employee must maintain eligibility and adjudication at the SECRET level.
Education/Equivalent:
High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) Certificate.
Travel Required: minimal travel may be required.
