ADVANCE YOUR CAREER. ADVANCE THE WORLD.

At AMD, we believe technology has the power to solve the world’s most important challenges. From advancing healthcare and scientific discovery to powering AI and the technologies people rely on every day, innovation at AMD is shaping the future.

Whether you’re designing next-gen processors, enabling AI breakthroughs, or bringing leading edge products to market, every role at AMD contributes to something bigger — technology that moves the world forward. Join us and, together, we’ll advance your career.

THE ROLE:

In this highly visible role, you will partner closely with executive leadership, engineering teams, communications, HR, marketing, sales, and business operations to drive operational rigor and execution excellence across the Computing and Graphics organization. You will develop and manage operational cadences, coordinate strategic forums and executive engagements, track key initiatives, and identify opportunities to improve scalability through process optimization and AI-enabled solutions.

Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong business judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to drive alignment across a complex, fast-moving environment. You must be comfortable operating independently, influencing without authority, and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate is a highly organized and proactive program leader with a passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement. You are equally comfortable managing executive-level activities and driving detailed execution across cross-functional teams. You build strong partnerships, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and excel at translating leadership priorities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.

You thrive in dynamic environments, navigate ambiguity with confidence, and continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance organizational effectiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive operational programs supporting the CG Office, including employee recognition programs, executive and partner gifting, community engagement initiatives, and organizational activities.
  • Manage operational cadences for executive leadership forums, roundtables, town halls, and strategic meetings, ensuring seamless coordination, preparedness, and follow-through on action items.
  • Own calendar governance and meeting readiness across recurring executive forums, including agenda development, attendance management, logistics coordination, and pre-read distribution.
  • Participate in key engineering operational reviews and planning forums to improve visibility, track executive priorities, identify risks, and drive issue resolution.
  • Develop strong partnerships with engineering chiefs of staff, program managers, and operational leaders to improve alignment and execution across organizations.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives related to workspace planning, organizational operations, and business process improvements.
  • Monitor organizational operational metrics including travel and operating expense trends, providing visibility and recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline business processes through automation, AI-enabled tools, and data-driven operational improvements.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in program management, business operations, engineering operations, chief of staff, or related roles.
  • Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional programs and drive initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Strong experience building operational frameworks, business rhythms, and scalable processes.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with experience preparing executive-level materials.
  • Demonstrated success influencing stakeholders across engineering, business, and corporate functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leveraging AI, automation, and productivity tools to improve operational efficiency.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, Power BI, and project management tools.
  • Semiconductor, computing, or technology industry experience highly preferred.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree and/or PMP certification is a plus.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
