Founded by a team of passionate experts, ByteBridge aims to achieve customer success through technology enablement, bridging technical gaps to help enterprises expand globally. The company has gained trust from some of the world's leading international companies.

About the Role

We are seeking a Program Manager, Data Center Buildout to lead the coordination and execution of data center buildouts across Low Voltage, Liquid Cooling, and Power Delivery systems. This role owns the day-to-day delivery of these workstreams on assigned sites, coordinating contracted labor and ByteBridge field resources to ensure installations are delivered safely, on schedule, and to specification.

The ideal candidate combines working technical knowledge of low voltage, liquid cooling, and power delivery systems with hands-on program management experience, contractor coordination, and the ability to direct both third-party crews and internal field personnel in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Work Location

Hybrid — Hayward, CA; Manassas, VA; or Houston, TX, with travel to project sites as needed (~25%, domestic and occasional international)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the coordination and execution of data center buildouts across Low Voltage, Liquid Cooling, and Power Delivery from kickoff through commissioning and handoff

  • Coordinate contractors and ByteBridge field resources to manage day-to-day buildout activities on site

  • Maintain buildout schedules, staffing plans, and resource forecasts for assigned workstreams

  • Support contractor relationships, including qualification, RFP/bidding, contract negotiation, contract management, and performance tracking

  • Coordinate with pre-sales engineering, network, service delivery, vendors, and other cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to specification

  • Serve as the first point of escalation for buildout issues, schedule delays, and field-level risks while driving mitigation plans

  • Review installation drawings, specifications, and change orders to validate scope and identify dependencies

  • Manage project budgets, purchase orders, cost tracking, vendor invoicing, and change orders

  • Support inspections and regulatory/code compliance for low voltage, cooling, and electrical work

  • Prepare regular program communications, including status dashboards, risk registers, and milestone reporting

  • Drive commissioning readiness and coordinate the transition from buildout to live operations

  • Lead project closeout, including final documentation, punch-list resolution, and stakeholder sign-off

  • Conduct post-buildout reviews and capture lessons learned to improve future program planning and processes

  • Represent ByteBridge in customer meetings, site walks, and delivery reviews

  • Coordinate day-to-day activities with ByteBridge field resources supporting the project

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of program or project management experience in data center buildouts, mission-critical facilities, or large-scale infrastructure environments

  • Experience managing buildout projects involving Low Voltage, Liquid Cooling, and/or Power Delivery from kickoff through closeout

  • Working knowledge of low voltage systems, liquid cooling infrastructure, including CDUs, RDHx, piping and manifolds, and power delivery/electrical distribution

  • Experience coordinating contractors and internal field resources on active job sites

  • Experience working with contractors and vendors, including RFP/bidding and contract negotiation

  • Ability to manage buildout budgets, cost tracking, and change order processes

  • Proficiency with scheduling and project management tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, Smartsheet, or similar platforms

  • Ability to read and interpret installation drawings, specifications, and BIM models using Autodesk ACC, Revit, or similar tools

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with field teams and leadership

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred

  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed (~25%, domestic and occasional international)

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credential

  • Experience supporting hyperscale or colocation data center buildouts for AI or high-density computing environments

  • Familiarity with liquid cooling manufacturers such as NVIDIA, Vertiv, CoolIT Systems, Motivair, and Schneider Electric, as well as low voltage and power delivery vendors

  • Experience directly coordinating internal field technicians alongside contractor crews

  • Background in commissioning processes for mission-critical facilities
